This week, singer, JoJo updated her myspace page with a new song. Can't Believe It, is a cover of T-Pain's latest single, which is currently impacting radio stations. I'm kinda feeling the track is very simple and JoJo even uses a little pit of the infamous auto-toner to truly capture T-Pain's style. Remember, JoJo is in the studio working on her third album, Everything I Want. Can't Believe It
Yet again, another Keri Hilson song has surfaced the net, this one being what was supposed to be her first single, but was replaced with Energy. The Timbaland produced and featured track, Return The Favor, is a hot track with an upbeat background and blazing promotion. Be sure to check this out and be on the look out for In A Perfect World..., out this October! Return The Favor
Upcoming R&B group, Git Fresh, who I introduced to you all earlier this season, will be releasing their debut album on October 7th. Today, a new leaked track, called, Cheater, surfaced the net. It's a hot ballad, and the group delivers with their on point vocals. I'm getting a little excited for their album, and hopefully they'll be releasing a music video, for Booty Music, soon. Until then, be sure to check this out! Cheater
With all these songs leaking, I'm sure Chris Brown & Jive Records have been pretty pissed, especially with his demos leaking. Today a demo track, called, Golden Girl, feature Andre "Dre" Merrit, leaked to the net. It's pretty weird hearing Chris call himself a, "Golden Girl," lol, but it's a hot track and any female recording artist with the track better be sure to release it because it's definitely blazing. Golden Girl
Pussycat Dolls have pushed back high anticipated album, Doll Domination, to late September, as we await its release hoepfully more tracks will leak. Today, a track featuring Missy Elliott, called, Whatcha Think Bout That, leaked and it's pretty hot! Missy does her thing but I'm really loving the production, the beat is infectious and Melody's high notes deffiently add to the track. Nicole's vocal are on point and the other 'dolls,' on backup still hasn't changed but it's more than alright for this track. Whatcha Think Bout That
Selena Gomez & Drew Seeley are two talented actors and singer. Many of you may remember Drew as the singing voice for Troy Bolton, in the first High School Musical film, and on tour. I'm sure everyone knows the latest breakout Disney starlet, Selena Gomez. The two have teamed up for the sequel to the Hilary Duff film, A Cinderella Story, titled, Another Cinderella Story, which will be released straight-to-DVD, September 16. This week the soundtrack was released in stores and online, and it features a few tracks from Drew & Selena, so I'm leaving them with you all. Selena Gomez - Bang A Drum Drew & Selena - New Classic Drew Seeley - Just That Girl
T.I. establishes the mark for biggest jump to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, as "Whatever You Like" soars 71-1 in its third week on the list. The new chart will be published tomorrow (Aug. 20 on Billboard.com.)
A No. 1 opening on Hot Digital Songs with debut-week sales of 205,000 downloads is the impetus for the record-setting Hot 100 move, which surpasses the 64-1 hike taken by Maroon 5's "Makes Me Wonder" in the May 12, 2007, issue.
"Like" is the rapper's first No. 1 as a lead artist (he was featured on Justin Timberlake's 2006 chart-topper, "My Love") and his opening-week digital sum is the best by a rap track since Nielsen SoundScan began compiling download data in 2003.
The song is also faring well at radio, jumping 33-20 on Hot 100 Airplay and 13-8 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.
T.I.'s new Grand Hustle/Atlantic album, "Paper Trail," is due Sept. 30. The rapper, who pled guilty to federal weapons charges in conjunction with an October 2007 arrest in Atlanta, will eventually serve a year in jail following the completion of 1,000 hours of community service.
Congratulation T.I., he really deserves it! Thoughts/Comments?
This week, Solange broke out from her sister's shadow and released her sophomore album, Sol-Angel & The Hadley St. Dreams. She has already put out two single and is proving to hold her own in the music industry. Today, I have the UK/iTunes bonus track, titled, ChampagneChroniknightCap, which is also a remix, featuring, Lil Wayne, from a track on he album. Though this track leaked about a year ago, its still an amazing song, Solange really step upped on this album and has shown so much growth and originality, that I am starting to see longevity for her career. Be sure to purchase your copy of Sol-Angel & The Hadley St. Dreams, out now! ChampagneChroniknightCap (Remix)
Plies is already in the studio getting ready to released his third album, Da Realist, this December, which will be his second album released this year. Here I have the first single, Pants Hang Low, which is a neat mix but not really first single material. I just can't get into this, but maybe you all will. Pants Hang Low
This week marks The Game's third album, LAX, which will also be his final studio album. As sad as I am to hear this, I'm also pretty excited to she what the future holds for him. Also, if you haven't bought your copy, please do, you'll surely love the mix of Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B. Today, I have the iTunes bonus track, called, Ain't F*cking With You, which is included on both version of the album. Though the title may seem a bit crude, the track itself is pure genius, The Game does his usual lyrical breakdown, but either way it's all good, also the chorus is sung by an uncredited singer, but he sounds pretty good! Ain't F*cking With You

With his first single, blazing up the charts, LL Cool J wasted no time putting out a second single. His thirteenth and final Def Jam album, Exit 13, being released September 9, I'm actually not surprised. Feel MY Heart Beat, which is a collaboration with 50 Cent, is a hot track, with an infectious beat, LL & 50 really deliver with what seems like a throwback track from LL's early days, but either way, it's good stuff. Feel My Heart Beat
On Friday, entertainer John Legend, premiered the music video for his single, Green Light, which serves as the debut single off his upcoming third album, Evolver. At the Democratic National Convention, which is still taking place, John showcased his second single, If You're Out There, to the nation. I'm very excited for the new album, I more than impress but John's singles and can't wait to see what he has in store for us all this fall! If You're Out There

Rapper, Tyga, who I introduced to you all a while ago, has just released his third single, AIM, off his highly underrated album, No Introduction. Recently, I received a track by him titled, Keep Ya Head Up, which is supposed to be off one of his mixtapes. After listening to the track, I instantly started feeling it! Its infectious but uplifting and I'm kinda disappointed this didn't make his official album. Keep Ya Head Up
T.E.V. is an upcoming rapper who mixes Hip-Hop & Pop to create an interesting refreshing mix. Not only a talented rapper, T.E.V. has also launched his own clothing line called, Creative Boys Culture. I'm leaving you all with two of his track, the first one called, Coming Back, and the second one called, Slide N Pick It Up, both tracks are very solid and shows a new side to the rap game. Note: T.E.V. is currently unsigned and is looking for a label, so be sure to check him & be on the lookout for him on BET Rap City "Spit Ya Game" airing on Sept. 2nd @ 4pm Coming Back Slide N Pick It Up Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/creativeboytev
Singer, songwriter, producer, Sean Garrett, released his debut album, Turbo 919, earlier this year. You all may have heard the buzz single, Grippin', featuring Ludacris, but there's more from "The Pen," and here it is. 6 In The Morning will be the official lead single, and will feature "The Boss," himself, Rick Ross. The remix is pure fire, and its great to see to talented acts on one track. 6 In The Morning (Remix)
R&B singer, Lloyd, released his third album, Lessons In Love, earlier this year. It's a solid album and if you haven't picked up your own copy, be sure to. Anyways, Lloyd is prepping to release his the album's third single, Year Of Lover. The single version will be different from the album version because it's actually a remix featuring rapper, Plies. I'm definitely feeling the remix as much as the album version, Plies adds a nice touch to it, so be sure to listen to it. Year Of The Lover (Remix)
Note: Today marks seven years since icon, Aaliyah passed away at the tender age of 22. I'm leaving you all with her single, Miss You, which is was directed by Little X, and features cameos from some of her closest friends and admirers.
Here is another Keri Hilson track, this one many of you all may have here the live performance of it on youtube but here the high quality version. The sensual, Slow Dance, is definitely a hot track, and Keri really delivers. I'm sure you all will enjoy this, so be sure to check out this, slow jam, and be on the lookout for In A Perfect World... later this year. Slow Dance

R&B singer Karina, just released her debut album, First Love, this week. If you guys have purchased your own copy, please do so, it's a hot one. Here is the iTunes bonus track, Dime Si Es Amor, which is the Spanish version of her second single, Can't Find The Words. Even though I'm not so well acquainted with Spanish, I'm pretty good with Spanglish, but trust me this track is definitely worth a listen, it's just a good as the English version. Dime Si Es Amor
R&B singer Keri Hilson, will be releasing her highly anticipated debut album, In A Perfect World..., in the fall, but as we get closer to its release, hopefully more tracks and such will leak. Today a new track has leak, called, Mic Check, featuring Akon. The Timbaland produced track, its pretty hot but the beat is just so usually, as all of Timbaland's tracks have been lately. While the lyrics are infectious and Keri's voice is one point, the beat throws it off. Mic Check
Lady GaGa's debut single, Just Dance, has been taking over the charts. She will be releasing her album, The Fame, October 7, in the US. Her second single will be, Beautiful Dirty Rich which Lady GaGa describes it as, "[a] sum up [of] her time of self-discovery, living in the Lower East Side of New York City and dabbling in drugs and the party scene. “That time, and that song, was just me trying to figure things out. Once I grabbed the reigns of my artistry, I fell in love with that more than I did with the party life.” I find the track infectious and it's one of the best tracks off the album. Also be on the look out for the music video, which was shot on the set of the ABC show “Dirty Sexy Money,” as a special for the series. The music video will, officially, be released in September. Beautiful Dirty Rich

Here a very special post, earlier this week, I posted info about 15 female singers collaborating on one track to raise awareness for Cancer. Today, the single was just released to the public, but it will be officially released September 2ND. This is a very hot track, I love the arrangement and all the ladies' vocals fit together. Just Stand Up
The is part one, if you all enjoy it be sure to leave a comment on who your rooting for. Also, this is not a real feud, it's just two celebrities having fun!

Last night, the fourth season the hit MTV reality show, The Hills, premiered and one of the stars, Heidi Montag is uses it to the fullest. It's been about a year since she first started releasing "music," and has yet to put an album out. Anyways, along with the season premiere, Heidi drops another single, called, Overdosin, which is actually a neat song. It's nothing special but its kinda techno influenced pop, and its suits Heidi's vocals well. Overdosin
I haven't been a DJ Khaled fan, for some reason, I like all of his songs but I just can't stand him. So I've been looking for edits of his single without his intro :D Recently, a track from his upcoming album, We Global, out September 16, leaked called, Go Hard, which feature to of my favorite rappers, T-Pain and Kanye West. It's obviously a solid track and its great to see them doing more work together. Go Hard
Katy Perry held the number one spot, with her single, I Kissed A Girl, on the Billboards for about seven weeks, last week she fell to number three. Even though the single is almost done charting and her third single, Hot N Cold, is soon to be released, it's not stopping rapper, Flo Rida, to add his own touch to it. While, I'm a huge fan of I Kissed A Girl, I haven't really got into alot of the remixes to the song, but this one was pretty good, IMO, Flo Rida, can do no wrong on a remix. I Kissed A Girl (Remix)
Last week, I posted some info about R&B singer, Joe, who has the transformation from superstar to an indie musician. He's been recording his upcoming album, New Man, from his own home studio. Today, I have another song that's expected to be on New Man, titled, Last Sip, which features a personal favorite of mine, Mario. The song is definitely fire and its pretty rare to see such talent, yet again, males, on one track, but its a great mix and hopefully you all will like it. Last Sip
You all may remember Asia from her debut single, Selfish, which was released earlier this year. She's been in the studio re-working her yet to be released album, Who Is Asia Cruise? As we await the album release, some new music by her has leaked. The track Rewind, featuring Fabulous, is a nice uptempo track that doesn't really show off Asia's vocals, but complement them, in a way that's appealing and Fabulous' part definitely added to track. Rewind
Hey everybody sorry for not updating over the weekend, I got busy and not much had been going on anyways. First is another Chris Brown track, called Flying Solo, which features upcoming R&B singer, Andre "Dre" Merritt. Its unclear if the track is a cut track from, Exclusive, or a new demo for Graffiti, but either way its a hot mix and I'm sure you all will like it! Flying Solo
Upcoming R&B singer, Jazzy, has been taking over the Internet this summer with her new single, A.W.O.L (Absent With Our Love). Jazzy has also sign a publishing deal with Jamie Foxx’s newly formed music company Foxx King Entertainment as a songwriter. It's Rihanna's fourth chart-topper here, tying her with Beyonce and Mariah Carey for the most by a female artist this decade.
Chris Brown's "Forever" holds at No. 2, while "I Kissed a Girl" slides to No. 3. Another Rihanna song, "Take a Bow," remains at No. 4, followed by M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes," which jumps from No. 16 to a career-best No. 5 as the chart's top digital gainer. The track, which sold more than 136,000 downloads, appears in the trailer for the new comedy "Pineapple Express."
Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" slips 5-6, Kardinal Offishall's "Dangerous" featuring Akon holds at No. 7 and Lil Wayne's "A Milli" falls 6-8. Rounding out the top 10, the Jonas Brothers' 'Burnin' Up" rises 11-9, and Ne-Yo's "Closer" stays at No. 10.

Also new is rapper the Game's "My Life" featuring Lil Wayne at No. 21.
On Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, "A Milli" dethrones Keyshia Cole's long-running No. 1, "Heaven Sent." Ludacris' "What Them Girls Like" featuring Chris Brown and Sean Garrett is the top debut at No. 73.

The beat is hot, the lyrics are great, and Brandy's vocals are right on tack. I'm already in love with it! Right Here
*I'm going to start a new post called Off-Topic, where every once in a while, I'll post something funny, new, interesting, sad, whatever I can think of! It's called Off-Topic due to its randomness & has nothing to do with my usual post.
The first post on Off-Topic is the Chelsea Handler's interview she did with the 'Jonas Brothers' on her show Chelsea Lately. Be sure to watch it, its so funny!
R&B singer, Chris Brown, is the studio recording & producing music for himself and other artists. Recently, it was announced that he has been in the studio working with the Pussycat Dolls for their sophomore album, Doll Domination. Recently another track leaked, this one called, Glow In The Dark, and it's whereabouts are unknown. Most likely it was inspired from Kanye West's Glow In The Dark tour which featured Chris' girlfriend., Rhianna. Either way, its another hot Chris brown track and it definitely worth the download. Glow In The Dark
Today Jonas Brothers released their third album, A Little Bit Longer, and the fans have went crazy. I picked up my own copy just to see if the album was as good as it was advertised to be, and it is! Depending on were you bought the album, you may have recieved one of two bonus tracks released. Live To Party, available at Wal-Mart, is a upbeat pop song, which speaks for itself. Hello Goodbye, available at Target, is a cover of The Beatles' and if you've seen the Target commercials then you've heard parts of the song. Live To Party Hello Goodbye
R&B singer Joe, is changing his ways. Two years ago he released one my favorite album, Ain't Nothin Like Me, which features the hit If I Was Your Man. This year Joe parted ways with his label Jive Records because he wanted to support himself and focus on what he wants, which actually, is a great turn out. After hearing his latest singles, I am most pleased with the results. His latest album, New Man, focuses on his change from a big time recording artist to an indie R&B singer, yet it still seems it'll be a solid, seeing as it'll feature Diddy, Game, Nas, Trey Songz, Mario and tracks produced by Brian Micheal Cox. I'm leaving you all with Joe's first single, Why Just Be Friends, and the second single, Emergency Room. Be sure to check them out, also be on the lookout for the world premiere of the music video, Why Just Be Friend, tomorrow. Why Just Be Friends (ER) Emergency Room
It's been a while since Jay-Z had the world buzzin over him. While he'll forever remain a legend in the music industry. Last year he released his comeback album, American Gangster, which featured the hits Roc Boys & I Know. Earlier this month, while touring, it was announce that he was back in the studio recording The Blueprint 3. Today, the album's first single was leaked. With its cocky name and addicting lyrics, the Kanye West produced track, Jockin Jay-Z, will definitely have heads spending, its some of Jay-Z's best and will have the haters running. Also for those who noticed, the track sample Run DMC, and it kinda gives it that throwback feel. Jockin Jay-Z
The movie itself really reminds me of the High School movies but with a special twist. Throughout the movie I couldn't help but notice the chemistry between the main characters. Nina Dobrev really shined in this film, when compared to her most known role as Degrassi's high school mama, Mia, she really outdoes herself and lets her audience know, theirs more to her than meets the eyes. One major aspect of the film was the music, while not every song deserves attention, the song, Survivor, by Nina is most definitely my favorite from the movie, the emo/rock/pop influence really showcased her skill. Overall I give the movie a '+' and recommend it for those who enjoyed High School Musical & Camp Rock!
Be sure to watch the world premiere of the MTV musical, American Mall, starring a cast of upcoming actors including Nina Dobrev, who play's Mia on The-N's Degrassi. After the movie I will be posting my own review of the movie. So be sure to watch the world premiere of American Mall, tonight on MTV at 9pm.
Michelle William's album, Unexpected, will be released this October. The album's first single, Break The Dawn, was a great way to get Michelle her own name and stray away from that, "Third Destiny's Child," label/image. Recently it was announced that the album's second single will be two tracks, The Greatest & Hello Heartbreak, both single will be sent to different radio stations. This week, the official album version of the song, Stop This Car, was leaked. Though I prefer this track as the second single, I still have to give Michelle her props, Unexpected, is undoubtedly one the hottest album to be released this years. Stop This Car
Myspace Records' rising star, Kate Voegele, has just released her latest single, Lift Me Up, which is featured on the Team USA Soundtrack. Be sure to check the track out and purchase this single or the full Olympic album on iTunes! Lift Me Up
Nelly's much await comeback album, Brass Knuckles, was pushed back to September 16, to help ensure the success of his latest single, Body On Me. Along with Chris Brown and Taylor Swift, Nelly was selected to record a track for the Olympics. Unlike, those two, Nelly created a remix of the Warrior, which will be included on Brass Knuckles. Warrior, kinda sounds similar to some of his older music, such as his Sweatsuit album, but nonetheless, its a hot track. Be sure to check the track out and purchase this single or the full Olympic album on iTunes! Warrior (Team USA Edition)
Country singer, Taylor Swift, is set to release her sophomore album, Fearless, her debut self-titled album has gone multi-platinum. Yesterday, I posted the music video for the single Change, which also serves as a track from AT&T's Team USA Olympics 2008. I'm really feeling this track, Taylor really delivers this song. Be sure to check the track out and purchase this single or the full Olympic album on iTunes! Change
Chris Brown has been in the studio recording his third album, Graffiti, which is set for a 2009 release. Currently, his single Forever, is already number two on the Billboards.
